THE TRAIL BOSS,
by definition the person responsible for driving a herd of cattle, but in truth his responsibility was for not only the
cattle but the men who worked under him, for the owners of the cattle he drove and the land and water resources along the
trail to the destination.
Many successful cattle drives can be contributed to this American icon.
DURING THE COWBOY BOARDING HOUSE YEARS, THIS WAS THE TRAIL BOSS'S ROOM
This room is located on the main floor of the Stonehouse, just right of the front door. It, being
the Boss, boasts it's own private bathroom.
